Elias Andrew Thompson

As 2008 draws to a close, we rejoice in the greatest blessing God has given our family this year. On Tuesday, December 23rd, at 1:30a we welcomed Elias Andrew into this world. It was definitely a different experience for us since Josiah and Natalia were born in the US, but the Lord was gracious and gave Kolette strength for several unforeseen discomforts. We left the hospital on Christmas Eve and enjoyed a subdued celebration on Christmas Day. God is good!

Christmas Program

Our Christmas program was subdued this year since there are few children in our Sunday School. The children had prepared a couple of special presentations which they delivered with a few amusing mistakes and then we all enjoyed singing some of the better-known Christmas carols. We rejoiced to have some unchurched grandparents and uncles visit and hear about the real meaning of Christmas. Everyone stayed afterwards for some refreshments and fellowship.
