The Kids

The kids really seem to enjoy having a younger brother. They usually want to hold him at the most inopportune times and their "help" is not very often helpful, but we're glad to see that they take an interest. They all had medical check-ups last week and, we're glad to report, they are just fine! What "good gifts" God bestows...

Summer Camps

We've had an exciting camping season this year.  I was able to participate in both of our summer youth camps in January & that was a very rewarding experience.  Yesterday our fellowship finished up it's Kids' Camp and we will be having a Family Camp before the end of the month. Some excellent decisions have been made this summer--we're praying that the more than two dozen young people that professed faith in Christ will grow in Him.

While we were at missionary conference in southern Chile we had this family photo taken. As usual, Natalia wasn't very cooperative!

Annual Missionary Conference

It wasn't an easy trip to make with a four-week old baby, but being able to participate this year's missionary conference in southern Chile made it all worthwhile. Among the MANY blessings were:

• The participation and testimony of "Uncle" George Black--still an active missionary at age 101!!!
• Pastor Larry Clouse's exposition of 1 Peter 1.
• Refreshing fellowship with colleagues.
  
• Being surrounded by a wonderful display of God's creation.

We did, of course, get back in a very tired condition, but we are so glad to have inaugurated a new year of ministry with this time of teaching and planning.
